Before attending graduate school, she worked as a patient care technician at Cottage Rehabilitation Hospital and as an anatomy & physiology teaching assistant at Santa Barbara City College.
Alisha moved to Washington, DC, where she received her physician assistant training and master’s degree in physician assistant studies from George Washington University in 2018. After graduation, she worked for the Trauma Services Department at Medstar Washington Hospital Center in Washington, DC. In 2020, she and her husband relocated to Santa Barbara, where she worked at Cottage Hospital as an acute care surgery/trauma physician assistant. She joined Alta Orthopaedics in 2021 and is passionate about providing quality orthopedic care to the Santa Barbara community.
In her leisure time, Alisha enjoys cooking, exercising, watching documentaries, and going for beach walks with her family and dog, Kylo.
